This dungeon crawler, inspired by its board game counterpart, offers a nostalgic experience reminiscent of classic roguelikes, utilizing hand management, card draws, and dice rolling as its core mechanics. Players are challenged to strategically leverage their hero's abilities, skills, items, experience, and a touch of luck to navigate the treacherous depths of the dungeon.

At its essence, the game focuses on loot management, which lends it a unique charm. The journey might begin with something as humble as a hunk of meat, which can be ingeniously used to befriend a wolf. This ally could help vanquish a zombie that drops a lockpick, leading to further treasures hidden within a safe—such as a jeweled goblet that can be traded for a fortunate shield capable of withstanding a dragon's fiery breath.

The challenge presented by this game is significant; players will undoubtedly face death. Yet, with experience and adept play, seasoned Rogues can emerge from the dungeon victorious—a feat that may be elusive for less skilled heroes. Only time will tell if you manage to evade the fate of ending up in a goblin's belly.

Players begin by selecting their Rogue, equipping initial loot and skills, and determining their starting stats before embarking on their dungeon exploration. Navigation through rooms is facilitated by mini-maps, categorized into various types:

 <li>Traders: These characters provide options to exchange loot or stats for other resources or henchmen. Some transactions necessitate passing a stat test or rely on the roll of dice. Typically, loot traders will exchange two items for any single item they offer, with exceptions made for particularly valuable treasures.</li>
 
 <li>Combat Rooms: In combat scenarios, 1 to 3 monsters are drawn from the monster deck in accordance with the dungeon level. Resolution of combat relies on the Rogue's primary stat combined with a D10 roll. Success is achieved if this total exceeds the monster's combat stat; failure results in damage to the Rogue. Equal results lead to mutual damage. Damage mitigation is possible through discarding armor or utilizing skills or magical items. Potions and food can be consumed at any time to restore health and stave off death. Certain monsters exhibit vulnerabilities to specific thematic loot—defeating foes like Medusa requires clever utilization of reflective surfaces. Vanquishing monsters yields loot and experience points proportional to the dungeon level.</li>
 
 <li>Traps: The dungeon is fraught with traps; however, many can be disarmed or circumvented if players possess the necessary equipment. Even in instances where resources like rope are unavailable due to gremlin mischief, players might still emerge unscathed by passing relevant Strength, Agility, or Intelligence tests. Successful disarmament grants experience points and avoids potential harm.</li>
</ul>

Players may manipulate rolls using their luck stat—expenditure of one luck point allows for adjustment of any die result by one up or down or grants a complete reroll.

Progression occurs through five levels of dungeons divided by staircases where players can rest without fear of wandering monsters disrupting their respite. Leveling up is permissible any time players have accumulated sufficient experience points. The ultimate goal culminates in drawing and battling a boss monster in the final room; these foes often possess unique abilities activated contingent on attack rolls—they may summon additional enemies, drain levels, or even heal themselves.
